The core of our philosophy is to gain an understanding of your needs and, most importantly, to find the shortest route to a return on your investment. Since we all come from the insurance industry, you won't waste time (and money) teaching us about the differences between an MGA and a wholesaler, reinsurance vs. insurance, etc. In addition to understanding your business goals, our dialogue is designed to help us learn about your culture, processes and procedures. A distinguishing characteristic of our approach is that it is integrative. We do not tell you what to do and hope you can execute. We stay with you throughout the start-up and early execution phase of all our engagements.

Curriculum Design and Delivery



We believe that the best and most efficient approach to training is to combine directed self-study with live sessions, the design of which is meant to be mutually reinforcing. There are many excellent, off-the shelf training materials in the insurance industry; the critical challenge is selecting the right combination and then sequencing them properly. We have particularly close relationship with the leading accreditation group and provider of off-the-shelf materials in the industry and we work well with them in custom tailoring these programs.

The live delivery sessions we design provide training on an integrated basis for technical insurance skills, professional skills (e.g., presentation & team skills), and the processes and procedures that are unique to your business. Our approach is experiential and we utilize a large portfolio of proprietary case studies, simulations, and skill-specific training modules. We will often write a case study to the specific needs of a given client or cohort. Our goal is to make a complex industry easier to understand.
